Bead Soup Party 2014

I have showed you my bead Soup some weeks ago and now I finished cooking. Its was great fun to work with these great stuff but it was not easy for me because usually I don't use such a lot of little pearls. But now I love it!

Now I show you each piece a little bit nearer:

I wired the silk around the necklace, its made of silk elements too. The great big stone pendant don't need any other things nearby I think. Its a great piece and should be presented alone.

With the great colorful little pearls made of stone, wood, metal and sea shell I made a wire wraped bracelet. On the ends I wrapped a little bit of silk ribbon. It's a great feeling to wear it!

The lovely metal leaves I used for earrings. I combined them with my handmade lampwork beads.

I took me a long time to know how to deal with the great dragon pendant. I tried it in some different ways but I am sure, that the pendant doesn't need very much around it. I put two of my handmade lampwork beads on the necklace and that's it!

To work with this great pendant was really hard because it is such a great, wonderful piece and the style around it had to fit perfect ... now I think, I find the best solution. Its great to wear it!

Thank you very much Birgitta for these wonderful pieces of your work! And bit hugs to Lori for the organisation and the great work to deal with all creative people!

  29. Each of your creations has its own beauty! The first necklace is my favorite - a good use of color and mixed media to make the pendant stand out! I like your design for the dragon pendant - the two pink lampwork beads somehow soften its dominance.
